Title: Equivalent Queue Model Capturing End-to-end Performance in Mobile Networks
نویسنده
چکیده
Background and Objectives The emergence of high-speed mobile networks providing Internet access has opened up many possibilities for the development of new services in a variety of application domains, including healthcare. A typical example is a service where patients with specific medical problems are equipped with sensors monitoring their medical state on a continuous basis, generating some kind of alarm in case of emergency. This type of applications poses strict constraints on the Quality of Service (QoS), for example in terms of service availability and end-to-end response-times. Typical response-time related performance metrics are end-to-end delay, delay variation and throughput.

Abstract- Communication has become inevitably part of our day to day activities, in academic, business, banking, and other sectors. It has therefore become so important to implement good and efficient communication system. A reference point according to this research is the wireless sensor networking (WSN) system, and most important thing in communication is to be free from interference, attenu...

متن کاملEnergy Efficient Routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks by Using Honey Bee Mating Optimization
Mobile Ad hoc networks (MANETs) are composed of mobile stations communicating through wireless links, without any fixed backbone support. In these networks, limited power energy supply, and frequent topology changes caused by node mobility, makes their routing a challenging problem. TORA is one of the routing protocols that successfully copes with the nodes’ mobility side effects, but it do...

Mobile ad hoc networks are networks composed of wireless devices to create a network with the ability for self-organization. These networks are designed as a new generation of computer networks to satisfy some specific requirements and with features different from wired networks. These networks have no fixed communication infrastructure and for communication with other nodes the intermediate no...
